Robert E. Griswold is the founder and CEO of Ready Made Resources, a long-standing, worldwide internet business serving the self reliant, prepper community since 1995. He started the company with a vision and passion for providing people with the means to plan and prepare wisely while there’s still time. Carrying over 4,200 products, Ready Made Resources specializes in everything from solar energy supplies, long term food storage, water purification, hand powered grain mills, pressure cookers, gardening supplies, self reliant books and more.

An entrepreneur at heart, Robert’s career has spanned numerous fields of endeavor. For over twenty years, he was a Certified Building Contractor in east central Florida – designing and building upscale custom homes, as well as large commercial projects. On numerous occasions, he won the prestigious “Parade of Homes.” Robert’s current occupation has afforded him the ability to travel as a consultant in over forty countries in various fields, such as NBC Equipment & Training, Security Equipment, Detection of Illegal Agents, WMD, Shelter Construction, Solar Power & Retreat Planning. Robert has many business contacts in various fields worldwide, providing a unique worldview and global source of information. He has also been a certified firearms instructor.

At age 55, Robert has been married for twenty five years, and the father of three sons and three grandchildren. His wife, Roxanne, is a prolific writer on issues that concern the preparedness and natural health communities. She is currently studying for her Naturopathic Doctor degree, and is also a certified martial art’s instructor. Robert’s oldest son, married with three children, served active duty for fifteen years in the Air Force, and is stationed overseas; his second eldest, married, a college graduate, served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps and spent a year in Fallujah during the height of hostilities; his youngest son – coined “the redheaded tornado” – was adopted at birth and is now eight years old and in the 3rd grade.

Robert resides with his wife and youngest son on their 25-acre, working homestead in southeast Tennessee where they live the passion of getting back to the basics while honing the necessary skills for uncertain times. Robert loves the outdoors, especially organic gardening and creating works of art with his hands. With his knack for building, he recently constructed a cottage greenhouse, as well as several raised flower, herb & vegetable beds. Though not limited to, his other interests include the Bible, health & nutrition, guitar building, classical music, martial arts and learning to become self-reliant. Robert is immeasurably grateful to God for it all.
